International Address Search

In each country, Experian QAS is committed to incorporating address data provided directly by the national postal administration. As regular visitors to each premise, these organisations are in a unique position to produce and maintain a national address file, including postcodes, suburb and locality names, and, dependent on the country, street names and premise numbers. In cases where additional street names are required in addition to the data in the national address file, Experian QAS ensures that the data comes from a legitimate source and is maintained by regular updates.

Prior to formatting the data for use within QAS products, Experian QAS always secures a resale agreement with the relevant national postal administration or where applicable other data providers. This resale agreement gives Experian QAS the right to incorporate the address data into QAS products and to license the data to end users, either directly or through Experian QAS business partners.

This resale agreement is the guarantee of legal compliance and provides an indisputable "audit trail" to the Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) in the address data. The resale agreement between a national postal administration and Experian QAS is available for inspection at any time.
