Barcoding and DPID allocation

The allocation of barcodes to mail allows organisations to take advantage of significant postage discounts offered by Australia Post.

The use of QAS Pro will allow you to append a barcode and DPID (Delivery Point Identifier) to each address record by validating it against Australia Post's Postal Address File (PAF) at point of entry.

QAS Pro has been AMAS (Address Matching Approval System) and BQP (Barcode Quality Program) approved by Australia Post for the 2007 cycle. Please see descriptions below.

AMAS QAS Products developed by Experian QAS have been approved by Australia Post in accordance with the Address Matching Approval System (AMAS) for the 2007 cycle.

bgp POST QAS Pro generates and prints 4-state barcode content, which meets Australia Post's requirements as defined in the Customer Barcoding Technical Specifications document.
