Web portal chooses software as a service

Feb 17 2009, 21:59 PM

The Australian Information Industry Association has chosen Intelledox to provide a software-as-a-service delivery of its document engine for its member portal.

The provider of intelligent enterprise document creation applications will supply the group's website AIIA.biz with a hosted version of its program, which will automate the construction of legal templates.

Developed by Maat Solutions, the portal can save smaller companies as much as 75 per cent of the total cost of creating legal papers.

Ben Shephered, managing director of Matt Solutions, explained the reasons behind the implementation of Intelledox's software.

He said: "Intelledox was both more sophisticated and yet simpler to use than other similar products.

"The user interface was much less complex, and uploading documents and question sets was also much simpler - with the end result being a very sophisticated service."

Earlier this month, Intelledox announced the release of its Express program, which is an enterprise document solution that aims to boost productivity and lower costs.
